Let's look at Chapter 15 today.

The Pharisees and the scribes wanted, somehow or other, to argue the Lord Jesus
into silence.
The Lord Jesus says about them in verse 6;
"you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition."
If we live in the words of man, we will make the word of God of no effect.
We have to be careful.
What
word do you live in right now?

In verse 13, Jesus speaks harshly.
"Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted."
This scripture reminds us of what He said about
the seed of the word in Matthew chapter 13.
However, the word
"uprooted" is harsher than the words used in chapter 13.
One day, it will be made plain whether it is imitation or real one.
The plant which bears fruit and the plant which is uprooted will be clearly distinguished.

Therefore, the Lord Jesus says in chapter 14, "Let them alone."
Let them alone. Let them alone. Leave them to God. Leave them to God.

In chapter 15, a woman of Canaan appears.
She is a mother of a daughter.
She says to the Lord Jesus;
"
Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David!" in verse 22.
"Lord,
help me!" in verse 25.
In verse 27, she says, "
Yes, Lord."
It means "Amen."
And,
From here, her faith appears.
"Yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table." (15:27)
The Lord Jesus praises the words of her faith.
Did she say so because she was a mother and desperately wanted her daughter to be healed?
Or did she say so because she was a mother of this faith?
What do you think?

I think it was her heart, in other words, her
faith.
It was her faith which caused her to say these words.
For it is written in Matthew 15:18,
"But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart."
No matter how hard we try to conceal what is in our hearts, what is there will appear.
In Proverbs it is also written that "Though his hatred is covered by deceit, His wickedness will be revealed before the assembly." (26:26)

Everything will be exposed in the presence of God. Because God is light.

* Somehow or other I want to be healed.
* Somehow or other I want to know God's will.
I think we need the faith like Jacob;
"we won't go away until God blesses us."

I want this kind of faith.
Until God tells me...
Until I know God's will...
Let us continue to pray on our way through life.
