OH!! BIBLICAL DAY`τ

By Ms. Bibli Cal

"Go ye in through the strait gate, because wide is the gate,
and broad the way that is leading to the destruction,
and many are those going in through it;
how strait is the gate, and compressed the way that is leading
to the life, and few are those finding it!"
This is a gate which is hard to find, because it is narrow and unimpressive.
We prefer to avoid such a narrow path.
But we must!!
This verse in the Amplified Bible is also interesting.
"Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and
spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction,
and many are those who are entering through it.
But the gate is narrow and the way is straitened and compressed
that leads away to life, and few are those who find it."
™Fathers and mothers of teenagers!
Children tend to choose the broad way.
The media shows these as splendid and exciting ways.
But we must teach and encourage our children to pass through the narrow gate.
We must not give up on our children.
We must not let Satan have his own way.
In the Old Testament, the prophet Jeremiah appears. He is a man of lament so that he is called the prophet of tears. In the book of Jeremiah, the following words are written.
Jeremiah 21:8.

"'This is what the LORD says: See, I am setting before you the way of life and the way of death. "

In our lives, from which gate we enter, which road we take, and to where we head are very important choices.
Have you finished making the choice yet?
By the way,
The books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, known as the Torah, are called the Book of the Law.
The fifth book, Deuteronomy means "order again".
This is like a summary of the whole
Finally let me read Deuteronomy 30:19-20
.
"This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob."
You who are wandering whether to believe in Christ or not.
Let us walk together through this gate.
Let us praise the Lord biblically, as in the Bible!! Always,

Today, let us consider the verse even non-Christians know well, "Enter through the narrow gate!"
Let us read the verse in New King James version of Bible.
It is in the very first book of the New Testament,
Matthew 7:13.

"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it."

The narrow gate means not only which university you will go and what you will do after graduation, but also it is a matter of life or death.
You might ask, "What? Why?"
However, the gate is the center of the points.
It represents Jesus Christ.

(To enter through the gate means becoming disciples of Jesus.)
