NO.17 Congratulations on the Dedication Ceremony!
I am truly thankful to the Lord,
that we could have a wonderful dedication ceremony
with the prayers of many people.
The weather was also blessed and it was a fine day.
Although sun was shining, there also was sprinkling of snow.
Our guests were very pleased and we also were delighted!
Many pots with orchids were lined up at the podium
with the sign, "Congratulation on your dedication ceremony!"
12 pots of tulips were placed to decorate 12 window ledges.
A key board, a sound mixer, and microphones are all brand-new!
Hallelujah!
In the kitchen, too, all electrical appliances are new.
Someone said, "I want to live here..."
Oops! We have not decided where the laundry machine shall be placed...
Prayer House of the Water Brooks is so beautiful,
as if it is waiting for the spring to come.
☆I am thrilled how the Lord will use this place.
The dedication ceremony was wonderful
for which a variety of people gathered:
Pastors from evangelical churches, Christians,
non-Christians who are members of our Gospel Lesson,
people from other churches.
We are reported, "A brother of other church was delighted,
saying ' the first prayer house in Kyoto is established.'"
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
But, we cannot always be delighted.
We must humble ourselves before the Lord and pray.
Otherwise, there is no meaning in owning the prayer house.
"Speak, Lord, for Your servant hears." (1 Samuel 3:10)
☆May our church be the one that competes on our knees.
May our church be the one that witnesses the grace of God
that only the servants who have drawn the water know.
May our church be well-trained and be lithe.
And may our church be the one that prays, hears and follows the Lord...
