NO. 32　Prayer Garden　　

　

God named the new tract of land which was given to

us our“Prayer Garden.”

Just think, everyone, it is our own “Prayer Garden.”

There are seats where we can relax

and benches with desks where we can read the Bible

We have planted flowers among the trees.

Let’s take a walk with God,

and listen to the delicate voice of the Holy Spirit.

The little stream flows behind the prayer house.




In July, a huge cross will be built

with white marble brought all the way from Rome and Greece.

The white cross will rise into the sky

against the dark green of the Kitayama cedars. 

What a sight it will be!

I, Keihoku Kyoko thank God for His boundless mercy.  

Have we been blessed too much?  Are we too happy?

Surely not.

It is written in Deuteronomy that God gives grace to those

who believe in Him and blesses those who obey Him.

All the cars passing in front of the garden slow down to see it.

Here, in Prayer House of the Water Brooks, 3,300m² altogether,

the word of God has truly come to pass.

May this prayer garden become a garden of joy for many people.

May those who do not know Jesus be touched by Him in this garden.

Chinese lanterns (hoozuki) bloom white in the garden.

Will they be a mass of red berries in summer?

May my life as a Christian also blossom and bear fruit!
