The time of blossoming summer flowers is passed,
and the fir tree seems to be waiting for its chance.
It looked huge in the florist’s shop,
but in the garden of the prayer house it does not seem so big after all.
Using enormous conifers,
Or the Kitayama cedars of Kyoto, why don’t we make a green wreath?
In this garden, visited by wild birds and bathed in warm sunlight,
Let's get ready for winter!
”Playing at winter” and “enjoying the snow” are
a part of the emotional base for Japanese culture.
How do you spend the winter?
In the clear, frosty winter air,
We are glad to have the prayer house where we can pray to the Lord.
The year is running out. Let’s come before the Lord!
