Ujisato was pleased to receive many people who were the vassals of Ukon, including Hayato and other Christians. Ujisato invited an Italian missionary to his territory, tried to spread good news, and sent a mission to Rome four times. He deepened the relationship with Rome and received Christianity messages, the cross, guns, rifles, etc. in return of gold and pottery. The time which Ujisato governed, Aizu became the first center of Christianity in the Tohoku district.

Under this master, the religious life of Hayato in ages of 25 was protected and his faith grew further. Hayato who was eager for spreading Gospel also told many people Good News in the meantime, and the number of believers was increased.

gNow those who were scattered after the persecution that arose over Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to no one but the Jews only. But some of them were men from Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they had come to Antioch, spoke to the Hellenists, preaching the Lord Jesus. And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.h Acts 11:19-21

Like this, by the persecution to Ukon, many Christians in the domain were scattered but it caused that the words of Good News were spread in various places in Japan.
