Footprints of Yukinaga Konishi

4. Aggression to Korea (B)

Yukinaga and others were protected by God, and progressed to Pusan in April, Soul in May and then to Pyongyang
However, the supply goods did not arrive at the battlefield easily because the battle line was suddenly extended, and they were in serious state by hunger and cold.
Yukinaga and others prayed God for receiving goods and the war to end soon.

At such a time Ming army suggested a cease-fire agreement.
However, it was not sufficient for Toyotomi Hideyoshi to accept it. (Please see "the Footprint of Juan Naito" for more details).
When Japan was making a cease-fire agreement with Ming in Japan, Hideyoshi who found out the contents got angry and sent troops to Korea again.
Naturally, Yukinaga would have been killed because he made an arrangement of such agreement. However, Hideyoshi did not even confiscate Yukinagafs territory.
Probably, God protected Yukinaga with special way. And the 2nd aggression was ended by death of Hideyoshi.
