NO.27 Fig, Pomegranate, And Lemon Trees

It is late autumn.

A year has passed since the project was formed to plant fruit-bearing

trees in Prayer House of the Water Brooks.

At last the time has come.

The pomegranate tree is a commemorative tree for newly-weds.

Here are two couples who married this Easter

at Prayer House of the Water Brooks.

Pomegranate trees are often mentioned in the bible.

Those ... those scouts who were sent out by Moses brought back

not only grapes, but also
pomegranates and figs.

Did you know that?

I can hear you saying, "Really?"

Read the bibile carefully.

Yes, pomegranates and figs.

Look at the article <Figs> in "OH〜! BIBLICAL DAY".

I'm sure you will be impressed.

(It may be a little hard to understand.)

We also planted a lemon tree.

But one of our church sisters said,

"Lemon trees die if the aren't planted somewhere warm."

What? Why did we plant a lemon tree?

(The fruit of the beautiful trees in Leviticus 23:40 --- Wild lemons)

We will use it for Feast of Tabernacle.

Of course, we have also planted olive and myrtle trees

in Prayer House of the Water Brooks.

From Keihoku Kyoko, who loves most of all
the fruits and

fruit-bearing trees in the bible
.
