NO.29 A Hundred Bulbs!!

Eaten by wild boars again!!

---A hundred tulip bulbs---

They must have been tasty!!!

That's what I think, seeing the wide-spaced footprints of the wild boars.

However, there are still a hundred bulbs left.

This time we won't plant them outside.

Sorry, wild boars!!

Gardening too is a fight. We won't be beaten!

But how would they know so soon where and what we plant?

Is it by smell?

We have no idea.

Can somebody tell us?

A hundred persimmon trees,

A hundred cherry trees,

Grow in the garden of a wonderful church in Kyoto.

We pray, with that church as an example before us.

It is a little chilly in Keihoku-cho.

Still, the Kitayama cedars are beautiful.

There are a hundred, two-hundred, three-hundred trees.

A drive through the glories of autumn in Kyoto

Will take you to Prayer House of the Water Brooks.

You can enjoy the beauty of the red leaves and the evergreen trees,

The freshness of the air and the clear sky.

The colors of the sunset can only be preserved in our hearts.

I want to show them to you ...

Surrounded by the natural world which God created,

We are truly healed.

In the presence of God, we live and are made whole.

This autumn, surrounded by the beauties of God's creation,

We pray,

    Praise

   And give thanks to God.

Hallelujah!! to the Lord who gave us this wonderful place.

 with LOVE from
