Happy new year, 2004!

Last year was a wonderful year.

 God worked many miracles,

and many of His prophecies were fulfilled.

I, Keihoku Kyoko, was very busy throughout the New Year period.

Many people, from different denominations and religious communities,

came to pray at Prayer House of the Water Brooks.

I too was there, through the grace of God.

The snow from the end of last year glistened

in the morning sun to make a beautiful silver world. --

On January 2, 2004, I had a good time to attend an early morning prayer

meeting with people from other churches.

Together we read the devotional scriptures of our church,

and prayed to God in gratitude, deeply moved by the cross of Christ.

”Isn’t it wonderful to be a Christian!” I thought.

“ How noble, the love and grace of God!”

As the new year dawned, I gave thanks for the joy of being saved.

 Thanks to the prayer house,

God has given us the opportunity to meet many people from other churches

Members of various churches look at our web-site.

 We are bonded in Christ.

With those whom we had never met and whose names

we did not know until the day before.

Through the grace of the cross of Christ we can join together in prayer.

What blessing could be more wonderful?

To the glory of God,

and to the power of the Gospel, Hallelujah!!

☆ Incidentally, there are no denominations in heaven.

   Did you know it?

Talking of the Gospel, the Good News,  it is “God’s spell”

 which becomes Gospel.

The people who have come today to the prayer house to pray are

also leaders of the black gospel choir.

We would like to hold a joint concert with them some day...

Over 130 people came to our gospel Christmas concert.

 Just imagine!!
130 people!

During the daytime, on a weekday!

 Hallelujah! Praise the Lord.

We bring our expectation onto the Lord in 2004.
